WeaverBollySnow1On June 9, 2018, Trinity Trail Alliance brings back the much-loved LaGrange Classic Mountain Bike Race to the beautiful Weaver Basin Trail System , the same trail system that hosted the 2015 World Solo 24 Hour Mountain Bike Championship (WEMBO 2015).

While the race route is not as brutal as the 2015 WEMBO route, it uses parts of the same trail system. At the foot of the Trinity Alps, this new race route will take you through conifer forests and oak woodlands and across historic mining ditches. Ford clear creeks and race on miles of challenging singletrack. Every effort has been made to avoid forest roads.

Organized by Trinity Trail Alliance and Weaverville Lions Club, in partnership with U.S. Forest Service, this year’s race features two courses; a short 14 miles and a longer 27 miles. Proceeds go to fund Trinity Trail Alliance’s efforts to create a brand new bike park at Lowden Park.
